Snow fell yesterday on the highest peaks in the Tramuntana, such as Puig Major and Puig del Galatzó. Some roads were affected. At times yesterday morning, snow chains were necessary and obligatory for the MA-10 between Sa Calobra and the Mirador Ses Barques. By midday the situation had returned to normal.
The Council of Majorca issued normal advice for road users. If there is ice or significant snow, use chains and low gears, do not suddenly change direction, and avoid using brakes on icy stretches. Photo: Alberto J. Darder
