PM MULLS OVER RESIGNING AFTER ACCUSATIONS MADE AGAINST WIFE
The future of the current Spanish government has been left up in the air this week after Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez said he was considering resignation. The shock announcement came in a letter on social media, addressed to the people of Spain, after initial investigations were opened into Sánchez’s wife Begoña Gómez, over allegations of influence peddling and corruption. The Socialist PM accused rightwing groups of waging a “harassment” campaign and said he would announce his decision on Monday. The opposition criticised his move as “irresponsible”. Seguir leyendo
